Fashion Wednesday: Clouds

Za niektóre z nich można pociągnąć, zwężając go i modyfikując kształt.

Mam wybitnego pecha do sandałów.

I jeszcze torba.

Uff, okej! Herbata skończona? Nie usnęliście? To zostawiam Was z resztą zdjęć i lecę :-) Buziaki!

Hello! Today I would like to tell you why sometimes it's good to be patient when looking for perfect clothes :-) I feel I can be quite chatty today, so prepare yourself a nice cup of your favorite tea!

The outfit that you can see today has three new elements: a giant tee, a pair of sandals and a bag. I got this tee from my Mom. As you know, she loves uncommon clothes and so do I! She bought this T-shirt for me because she found it strange and funny. It's really huge (could be a tent if needed!) and has many little strings. I can pull some of them to change the shape of this T-shirt, some of them are decorative and won't move, and other ones don't change the tee's shape if you pull them. That's really funny :-) I've been wearing this tee all the time lately, since it's comfy and perfect for hot weather. But I still didn't figure out if the strings around neckline should be worn on the front or on the back of the tee ;-)

As for the sandals, I bought them back in February and I couldn't wait to try them when it will at last get warm. I'm really unlucky when it comes to sandals. I've been searching for a perfect pair for years and already twice thought that I found it. At first I bought a pair of Dr. Martens sandals few years ago, and they made my feet bleed in the most disgusting way (after one short walk only!). Then, I bought a pair of leather Zara sandals, and their straps broke when I had them on for, like, fifth or sixth time. Since then, the fact that "the sales are starting, Marta is going to search for sandals" became a kind of tradition in our family. For now I think that my new little Vagabond sandals are as close to the perfection as they possibly can be :-)

And the bag. I had a chance to buy two bandanas for 1.99€ and I knew that they'll be perfect to sew a bag. Why? Because they were so stiff, that no one could ever wear them tied around their neck, it could be dangerous! ;-) I made this bag and added straps made of some jeans leftovers I had after making a pair of shorts ages ago (oh, here you can see an OOTD post where I wear them). Sewing this bag was really quick and easy but I cannot say that I didn't learn anything! For example, I learned that I shouldn't sew late at night, when I'm really tired. Because I stitched one of my fingers to the bag. Luckily, I didn't hurt myself too much.

Whew, okay! You've finished your tea? You didn't fall asleep? So I'll leave you with the rest of the photos :-) Hugs!

Salut !

Hello! As you know, I love sewing clothes. Today I have a post for you about a Polish sewing book called "Co Za Szycie: poradnik szyciowy dla początkujących". It's in Polish only, but if you happen to speak Polish, maybe you'll be interested in my little review ;-)

The book is by Anna Maksymiuk-Szymańska, known as Ruda from the YouTube channel "Co Za Szycie". I won this book in a Facebook contest organized by Cotton Bee few months ago. I was really happy, because I know and like Ruda, so I really wanted to read her book! And since I'm still a beginner, I always want to learn some new sewing tricks!

Salut salut !
