W ramach Tęczowego Tygodnia modenferowego postanowiłam stworzyć dla Was notkę specjalną z mojej serii Iconic Friday. Sportretowaną postacią jest jedyna i niesamowita Brigitte Boréale! Z niecierpliwością czekałam na moment, by móc ją sportretować.
For my Rainbow Week I decided to create a special episode of my Iconic Friday series and did a portrait of faboulous Brigitte Boréale! I wanted to draw her for ages.
Pour ma Semaine de l'Arc-en-Ciel j'ai créé un épisode spécial de ma série Iconic Friday avec un petit portrait d'un personnage hors-du-commun, Brigitte Boréale ! Je voulais la dessiner depuis si longtemps !
W 2006 roku Olivier robił reportaż na Paradzie i uchwycił na fotografii, którą możecie zobaczyć powyżej, bardzo nietuzinkową postać. Kobieca poza i militarny styl od razu podbiły moje serce i często wracałam do tego zdjęcia, przedstawiającego - jak się później dowiedziałam - właśnie Brigitte Boréale. Kilka lat później miałam okazję zobaczyć z daleka Brigitte na żywo podczas Parady, w bardzo podobnym zestawie. Nie wiem jak dla Was, ale dla mnie okazja zobaczenia w ruchu osoby, którą znam wyłącznie ze zdjęć jest zawsze magiczna :-)
Dwa lata temu oglądając reality show, który śledzimy wiernie każdego lata, Secret Story, miałam wreszcie okazję nie tylko zobaczyć, ale i usłyszeć Brigitte. Czym jest Secret Story? To rodzaj Big Brothera, w którym każdy z uczestników posiada sekret, który pozostali starają się odkryć. Jedną z uczestniczek była sympatyczna Morgane, której sekret brzmiał: "Mój ojciec nazywa się Brigitte". Możecie sobie wyobrazić moją minę, kiedy okazało się, że ojcem tym jest właśnie Brigitte Boréale :-) Brigitte pojawiła się w studio przy okazji wyjawienia sekretu Morgane i opowiedziała trochę o sobie, a mnie całkowicie, absolutnie urzekło to, że okazała się osobą nie tylko piękną i oryginalną, ale również serdeczną i pełną głębokiej, życiowej mądrości.
Back in 2006 Olivier did a photo report during the Gay Pride and took a photo you can see above. I fell in love with this shot, I loved the ultra feminine pose and the military look of Brigitte Boréale. Several years later I had a chance to see her during the Pride and I was so happy! It's great to see in reality someone you know only from photos.
Every summer together with Olivier we follow a French reality show called Secret Story. The rules are simple: every candidate has a secret and the others have to find out what is it about! Two years ago a young girl, Morgane came to the Secret Story with her secret being "My father is called Brigitte". You can imagine my face when I discovered that it's Brigitte Boréale! During one of the episodes Brigitte was invited to the studio and it was great not only to see but also to hear her talking. I discovered that it's not only a beautiful person, but also someone very wise and open-minded.
En 2006, en faisant un reportage pendant la Marche des Fiertés, Olivier a pris la photo que vous pouvez voir ci dessus. J'ai immédiatement été charmée par la pose élégante et le look militaire de Brigitte Boréale ! Plusieurs années plus tard j'ai eu l'occasion de la voir en vrai pendant l'une des Gay Prides Parisiennes et j'étais trop contente. Pour moi la possibilité de voir en vrai quelqu'un que j'ai connu seulement en photo est toujours magique !
Puis il y a deux ans, comme tous les étés, on a suivi avec Olivier l'émission Secret Story sur TF1. L'une des candidates, Morgane, était venu avec le secret: "Mon père s'appelle Brigitte"... Quand j'ai découvert qu'il s'agissait de Brigitte Boréale j'étais trop émue ! En plus de la voir parler pendant l'un des Primes, c'était tellement chouette. J'ai découvert une personne pas seulement belle, mais aussi extrêmement attachante et profondément sage.
Widzicie tego zestresowanego kurczaka pomiędzy dwoma pięknościami? Tak, jedną z rzeczy, której jeszcze o mnie nie wiecie jest to, że jestem bardzo - może nawet chorobliwie? - nieśmiała. Kiedy jednak podczas tegorocznej Parady zobaczyłam Brigitte, wzięłam głęboki wdech i na trzęsących się nóżkach poszłam spytać, czy możemy sobie zrobić razem zdjęcie. Myślałam, że grzecznie spytam, a potem szybciutko odejdę, z szerokim uśmiechem, i nie będę nikomu przeszkadzać :-) Zamiast tego zaczęłyśmy rozmawiać... Brigitte okazała się być jeszcze bardziej sympatyczną, otwartą i mądrą osobą, niż mogłam to sobie wyobrazić. A zdanie, którym mnie pożegnała - "Nigdy nie trać swojego pięknego uśmiechu" - do tej pory rozgrzewa moje modenferowe serducho :-)

Can you see me on the picture between those two beauties? One of the things you probably don't know about me yet is that I'm extremely shy. But when during this year's Pride I saw Brigitte I just had to come closer and ask if we could have a photo together. I tought that after one photo I will thank her and go away, but instead we started talking and I was just too happy :-) She's so kind and wise! And the words she said to me at the very end of our little conversation, "Never let your beautiful smile go away", are still making me feel very happy.

Voyez-vous ma petite tête de poussin timide entre ces deux beautés ? Oui, l'une des choses que vous ne savez pas encore de moi est le fait que je suis vraiment une grande timide. Mais quand j'ai vu Brigitte (avec une deuxième demoiselle que je connais de vue des précédentes Marches mais je ne connais pas son nom, malheureusement...) j'ai pris tout mon courage et je suis allé demander à faire une photo ensemble :-) Je pensais avoir juste une photo et m'en aller, car je ne voulais pas les déranger, mais Brigitte a commencé à parler avec moi (je suis trop contente que mon français est de mieux en mieux, oufff !)... C'était trop chouette, elle est encore plus adorable que ce que j'avais pensé ! Cette petite rencontre était magique, et les mots qu'elle m'a dit à la fin: "Garde pour toujours ton joli sourire" sont restés gravés dans mon cœur :-)
